Concrete Walkway Replacement Oxford
We were out in Oxford this week tearing out a cracked, uneven sidewalk and replacing it with a fresh concrete walkway and entrance landing. The old path had settled near the side of the house, causing water to pool toward the foundation. We excavated the area, adjusted the pitch for proper runoff away from the home, and compacted a solid aggregate base. We poured a high-strength concrete slab, tied it neatly to the existing side entrance steps, and finished the surface with a broom texture for reliable non-slip traction. To wrap things up, we backfilled the lawn edges with fresh soil and seed to ensure a smooth transition once the grass grows back.
