Granite Step and Paver Landing Installation
We were out in Malvern this week upgrading a worn-out front entryway with custom granite steps and a matching paver landing. We removed the old, cracked concrete slabs, excavated down to firm soil, and compacted a thick crushed stone sub-base with a heavy gravel bedding layer. We set solid granite step treads over a reinforced concrete base to guarantee zero movement under heavy foot traffic, then tied in a multi-piece paver landing framed with a clean soldier course border. All joints were filled with polymeric sand to block weed growth and seal out rain.
